cwdm mux demux 1.png
CWDM Mux Demux is designed for reliable network applications. Neolink’ CWDM MUX/DEMUX is a passive optical solution that expands fiber capacity by multiplexing and demultiplexing multiple signals (typically 8 to 18 channels at 20 nm spacing from 1270 to 1610 nm) over a single fiber. Based on stable Thin-Film Filter (TFF) technology and utilizing uncooled lasers, it offers a cost-effective and robust solution for metro/access networks, data centers, and 5G transport, requiring no wavelength tuning. Its key advantages include completely passive operation (eliminating power and cooling needs), simplified deployment due to standard spacing and flexible channel configuration, high reliability over a wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +85°C), and inherently low latency for real-time applications.

DWDM Mux Demux is designed for reliable network applications. Neolink’ DWDM MUX/DEMUX enables ultra-high-capacity data transmission by multiplexing up to 96 channels with dense spacing (0.8/100 GHz) in the C/L bands (1525–1625 nm), ideal for long-haul and metropolitan networks. It supports high-speed protocols including 100G/400G/800G Ethernet, OTN, and DCI, delivering terabit-scale throughput over distances exceeding 120 km when combined with EDFA amplification. Key advantages include precise wavelength control, low signal attenuation in the C-band low-loss window, flexible scalability without fiber replacement, and high stability through temperature-controlled lasers and EDFA compatibility.

Neolink’ Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer (OADM) enables flexible, node-level bandwidth management in DWDM/CWDM optical networks by selectively adding and dropping specific wavelengths from a multiplexed fiber stream without interrupting the pass-through channels. This capability facilitates efficient bandwidth distribution in long-haul, metro, and 5G transport networks. Key advantages include protocol-transparent operation (supporting 10G/40G/100G Ethernet and OTN), significant cost savings by eliminating the need for full signal termination at intermediate nodes, inherently low latency through passive optical routing, scalable capacity expansion through independent channel management, and optimized fiber utilization by processing only required wavelengths at designated network points.
